Introduction to the Big and Small Balances: The Big and Small Balances refer to a barrage built on the Yangtze River 1.5 kilometers east of Xing'an County. It is a hub project of the Ling Canal. It is used to retain and raise the water level so that water can be directed to the Li River through the channel. It is customarily called Above the Big and Small Balance is the Haiyang River, and below it is the Xiangjiang River.
