Introduction to the Holy Well: It is located in the third floor courtyard of Lingshan Temple. It is 5 meters deep and about 2 feet in diameter. The water in the well is clear, and when you look down, you can see the sparkling silver and the ripples. Because Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, hid a piece of bamboo in the well in the eighth year of the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1348) and avoided being hunted by the officers and soldiers. Later generations called it the "Holy Well" or "Qianlong Well".
