Introduction to ancient Yue Tai: Opposite the gate tower, Ancient Yue Tai is built against the mountain and is divided into two floors. The upper floor is dedicated to King Gou Jian of Yue and his two advisers Wen Zhong and Fan Li; the lower floor is an exhibition of the story of "Xi Shi Xing" pavilion. In the tower, Gou Jian, King of Fengyue, is flanked by giant statues of Fan Li and Li Zhong. The statue of Gou Jian in Taichung is carved from camphor wood. It looks tall and burly. A plaque with the words "Lie down on firewood and taste courage" hangs above it, which shows his determination to work hard to rule and destroy Wu Xue Sha.
