Introduction to the Hong Ancestral Hall: Hongjiadai, where the Hong Ancestral Hall is located, was once the residence of the Hong family, especially Hong Zhong, the Minister of Punishment of the Ming Dynasty. From the Song Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, celebrities appeared in large numbers, especially in the Song and Ming dynasties. It is reported that there were three prime ministers and five ministers. There is a couplet in the Hong's ancestral hall that goes: "In the Song Dynasty, there were three prime ministers, father and son, dukes and princes; in the Ming Dynasty, there were five ministers, ancestors and grandsons, Taibao." From the time of Hong Hao, Duke Zhongxuan of the Song Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the ancestors of the Hong family were "prominent families in Qiantang" for 800 years. They passed down the family tradition through poetry and etiquette, and taught their children well, and they flourished for a long time.
