Introduction to Qiaoting Simu: Hong Zhong was born in a family of farming and studying. When he was young, he had to pass through the Hongjia River to go to school. The stone bridge on the river collapsed due to disrepair for a long time. His mother, Yao, used a ferry made of bamboo to pick him up every day no matter the wind, rain, cold or heat. Later, in order to repay his mother's kindness, Hong Zhong, who became a minister, funded the construction of a bridge at the place where his mother used to ferry him to study, named it "Simu Bridge", and built a chariot in the south of the bridge. A stele pavilion was built next to the road, named "Si Mu Pavilion". He wrote the article "Si Mu Pavilion" and engraved the stone in the pavilion. This scenic spot rebuilt Simu Bridge and Simu Pavilion next to the old site to promote the traditional Chinese culture of filial piety.
