Introduction to Maitreya Buddha: The Drum Tower is also the gate tower of the Hanging Temple. There is a wooden ladder built into the building for going up and down. Next to the wooden ladder, there is a Maitreya Buddha sitting east and facing west. The Buddha is exquisite in shape and has a pleasant expression. It welcomes tourists with a smiling face.
