Introduction to Li Minxiang: Li Min (1425-1491), courtesy name Gongmian, was born in Xiangcheng County. He was a Jinshi in the fifth year of Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty (1454), and was awarded the title of Imperial Envoy. He successively served as the Imperial Envoy of Zhejiang, Huguang, and Shanxi , Chief Envoy of Sichuan Province, Vice Minister of the Ministry of War, Deputy Governor of Sichuan Province. In the 22nd year of Chenghua (1486), he was appointed Governor of Water Transport. The following year, he was promoted to Minister of the Ministry of Household Affairs. During his four years in the Ministry, he made many achievements in eliminating the long-standing disadvantages of water transport, banning grazing on private fields, and providing disaster relief and famine relief. He also instituted the "One Whip Law" The first of its kind.
