Introduction to Wolong Lake: It was originally a natural lake formed by the convergence of Ruixiang Creek and Ziyun Valley. According to legend, Liu Xiu, the founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, moved his troops by this lake during the Kunyang War. He was hungry, so he shot wild ducks and caught grass carp. After a picnic to replenish muscles, under the guidance of a white-haired immortal, he defeated Wang Mang's army and changed its name to Wolong Lake. In 1956, the villagers of Majiangou Village renovated and expanded it to form a small reservoir with a water storage of more than 6,000 cubic meters. It was rebuilt again in 2002. The current lake surface area is 3,100 square meters, the average water depth is 3.5 meters, and the water storage is 10,850 cubic meters. A great place for fishing and other water recreation.
