Exhibition introduction to Xu Zhimo’s family background and life: Xu Zhimo was born on January 15, 1897 in Xiashi Town, Haining County. He attended Ding Kaizhi School at the age of 11 and entered Fuzhong in Hangzhou at the age of 15. After graduating from Fuzhong, he successively studied at Shanghai Baptist College. He studied in three institutions of higher learning. After graduating from Peking University in 1918, he went abroad to study in the United States and then in the United Kingdom. He studied at Clark University in the United States, Columbia University, University of London, and Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, and obtained a master's degree. After returning to China, he studied in Beijing There are about ten institutions of higher learning including the University, Central University, and Guanghua University. After Xu Zhimo was killed, he was buried in Dongshan, Xiashi Town in 1932. The tomb was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution". In 1983, the government restored and rebuilt it next to the Baishui Spring in Liangshan. It was renovated in early 2000.
