Introduction to the pagoda: It was built during the Dali period of Emperor Zong of the Tang Dynasty (766-779 AD) and has a history of more than 1,200 years. The existing pagoda was rebuilt in the Song Dynasty and was originally named "Lingshan Temple Pagoda". It is 44 meters high and has a base circumference of 36.8 meters. It is an octagonal nine-level pavilion-style brick pagoda. There are two arches in the north and south on the bottom floor of the pagoda. The north gate has the inscription "Looking down at the world of mortals" and the south gate has the inscription "Superior and Blue Falling". There are stairs inside the north gate. You can climb straight to the top of the tower to get a panoramic view of Yan'an City.
