Introduction to the reserve: The core area of Yancheng Coastal Rare Bird National Nature Reserve is 21,889 hectares, the buffer zone is 55,682 hectares, and the experimental area is 206,608 hectares. It mainly protects rare wild animals such as red-crowned cranes and the tidal flat wetland ecosystem on which they depend.
