The existing ancient stone pond in Yanguan was built in the early Qing Dynasty. The pond was built using the wooden pile stone pond method. Neat rectangular stones were used in a "T" shape, and they were stacked sequentially from bottom to top, with the smallest stones between the stones. The sticky glutinous rice is beaten and poured, and then iron spindles are used to fasten the tenons; the top of the stone pond is locked with iron spindles to prevent loosening; earth mounds are added behind the pond to protect the pond. Such a pond, when viewed from the side, is arranged in layers like fish scales, neat, beautiful and strong, so it has a beautiful name: "Fish Scale Stone Pond".
