Introduction to mountains and waters: Yangzonghai is a fault-depression structural lake located in the Xiaojiang fault zone. It is a graben-type fault lake formed due to the strong development of ground faults. With the evolution of structural faults, the Yangzong and Tangchi fault basins were first formed, and a structural lake developed on the basis of the basins. The shore of the lake is relatively straight, but the bottom of the lake is uneven and has caves and reefs. The water color is green and transparent, and it is surrounded by inland freshwater lakes. The lake water in Yangzonghai mainly comes from the Yangzong River and Shizha River in Yangzong District, except for accumulation in the rainy season, and the Zhuoyi River that was diverted into the lake by Yiliang in 1960.
