Introduction to Xianying Palace: Xianying Palace on Temple Island was built in the fourth year of Xuanhe in the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 1122). It is the earliest and most influential Mazu temple built in northern my country. It was originally the Buddhist temple on Shamen Island (the ancient name of Temple Island). There are only three huts in the courtyard. With the establishment of Beijing as the capital in the Yuan Dynasty, maritime transportation became increasingly prosperous, and most of Kyoto's tributes were transported to Beijing by water from the southern coast. At that time, Salmon Island was a necessary place for maritime water transportation, and ships traveling to and from it had to park here to wait for the wind. Since most of the Cao people were from Fujian and believed in Mazu, they built a Mazu temple on the island to provide support, which later became a custom.
