Introduction to the beacon tower: In the 31st year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1398), a "beacon tower" (using wolf dung as fuel) was set up on Yantai Mountain. In case of enemy situation, smoke would be raised during the day and fire at night to report the enemy situation to neighboring towers. . People then called the beacon tower "Langyan Tower" and the mountain where the beacon tower was set up was called "Yantai Mountain". Yantai also got its name from this. The beacon tower we see now was built later, and the original beacon tower was later built. Historical changes no longer exist.
