Introduction by Shi Fan: It is said to be a masterpiece left by the Eight Immortals when they crossed the sea. At first, the eight immortals planned to cross the sea from Yantai Mountain to Japan. While preparing to cross the sea here, Our Lady of Queen of Heaven invited these eight immortals to a banquet at Our Lady’s hometown in Fujian. In order to rush for time, Lu Dongbin drew his sword and split a huge stone on the mountainside in half. One half was rolled by the water and used as a boat to transport the immortals south. In Fujian, the other half is left on the mountainside, shaped like a sail.
