Introduction to Yanwo Island: In 1956, General Wang Zhen personally selected the site for construction; in 1961, Dong Biwu, the first Vice Chairman of the Republic, personally inscribed "Yanwo Island" with three golden characters, marking Yanwo Island forever. It was fixed on the territory of the Republic and became famous throughout the country.
