Introduction to the Xiyun Tomb Tower: There are more than 200 tomb towers of monks and Buddhist monks since the Tang Dynasty left in Huangbo Mountain, which can be regarded as treasures of ancient Chinese architectural art. The most famous of these pagodas is undoubtedly the "Yunzu Pagoda". In the eleventh year of Dazhong in the Tang Dynasty (587), Xiyun passed away Huangbo, and Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty awarded him the title of "Duanji Zen Master". Because he was the founder of the Linji Sect, he was nicknamed "Yunzu Pagoda". "Yunzu" was buried on the tomb hill of Taqian Village in Huangbo Mountain. The tomb tower faces east and west. It was built in the Tang Dynasty. The stone tower is shaped like a vase. The tower is 3.1 meters high and 1.2 meters wide. The base of the pagoda is a Xumizuo, with a girdle and a fat drum. The four sides are engraved with entwining flowers and leaves. The pagoda has four floors and a canopy with a high hexagonal roof. There are three layers: Fubo, Yanglian and Baozhu. There is a stone wall around the tower, and in front of the wall there are stone platforms, stone pillars, stone steps, and the "Duanji Zen Patriarch Pagoda" is engraved in the middle of the stone platform. A stone tablet is embedded in the middle of the rear part of Luo Wai. Engraved on it are the words "the founder of the mountain, Xi Yun, posthumously named Zen Master Duanji, and beside it are engraved the words "rebuilt by the abbot Monk Mingzhi and disciple Wan Tong in the unitary year of Kangxi" and "rebuilt by Sun Wuling, the 40th descendant of Guiyue, in the 17th year of Jiaqing".
