Introduction to the inscription on the temple tower: Chengtian Temple Pagoda is the only ancient pagoda in Ningxia that has documented records of its founding year. After the pagoda and temple were built, eminent Uighur monks were invited to give lectures, and the empress dowager and the emperor often listened impromptu. In the early Ming Dynasty, the temple was famous for its "Brahma Temple Bells" and became one of the eight scenic spots in Ningxia during the Ming Dynasty.
