Introduction to the old site of 618 War Readiness Radio: 618 War Readiness Radio is located in the north mountain of Eyu Village, Lucun Town, Yiyuan County. It was originally the war readiness station of Shandong People's Broadcasting Station. In the 1960s, in order to meet the needs of national defense and ensure that the voice of the party and the people would not be interrupted in the event of war, the Central Military Commission decided to secretly build a combat readiness radio station in East China. General Yang Dezhi, then commander of the Jinan Military Region, personally selected the site for construction. Completed in 1974, it is the largest and best-preserved combat readiness radio station in East China.
