Gate introduction: The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl Scenic Area is mainly composed of Daxian Mountain and Yihe River with an altitude of 532 meters. It covers an area of about 4.5 square kilometers and has a forest coverage rate of 92.7%. The legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl is one of the four major folk legends in my country. It is the earliest folk legend and the most widely circulated legend. It has a very important position in the history of Chinese folk literature. Yiyuan was awarded the "Hometown of the Legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl" by the Chinese Folklore Society, and Yiyuan's "Legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl" was also included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
