Alcove introduction: There are three or four culverts on the top of the octagonal melon rind in the center of the tower that lead directly to the outside of the tower. The entrance and exit of the stone steps are located on one side of the arch culvert. If there is no arch culvert, there is an arched niche on the face of the tower. There are one to five small niches symmetrically located on both sides of the arch culvert or niche on each floor. There are more than 600 brick Buddha statues in the niches. There is a gap behind the niche that leads directly to the passage inside the tower and to the Buddhas on the walls at the top of the empty hall, so that the Buddha lamps are always bright.
