Introduction to the three islands: There are three islands on Yilong Lake, namely Dashuicheng, Xiaoshuicheng and Ma'anlong. "Shui Cheng" in Yi language is pronounced as "Yi Chong". In the early Ming Dynasty, the Han people came to Shiping and did not understand the Yi language. They mistakenly thought that "Yi Chong" was the name of the lake, so they named the lake "Yi Long Lake". During the Tang and Song Dynasties, islands began to be built on the lake. During the Yuan Dynasty, two wars took place on the lake, and traces of the embankment still exist on the lake.
