Introduction to Guanting Reservoir: It is located in the basin at the junction of Yanqing County, Beijing and Huailai County, Hebei Province. It was built on May 13, 1954, covering an area of 230 square kilometers. The reservoir dam was built between two mountains. Cutting off the Yongding River in the middle has completely eliminated the flooding in the Yongding River. After the completion of the reservoir, it has played a huge role in flood control, power generation, irrigation, floods, etc.
