Introduction to the Origin of Humanity: The "Origin of Humanity" exhibition hall is designed and displayed using the "Afrocentric" views and materials on the origin of humankind led and provided by Mr. Zhou Guoxing of the Beijing Museum of Natural History. Through more than 50 plates, photos, and 49 models, the genealogy of human origin and evolution is summarized: from the genus Arthropus (7 million to 4.5 million years ago), Australopithecus (4.5 million years to 1 million years), Homo habilis (Early Pleistocene) developed and evolved into humans. Humans expanded to Eurasia with Africa as the center, further evolved into Homo erectus, and finally developed into fossil Homo sapiens, which is the academic view and related popular science knowledge of the ancestors of modern humans.
