Introduction to Sun Yat-sen's Reading Office: Sun Yat-sen's Reading Office is located halfway up the southern foot of Yuexiu Mountain. This place was originally the site of the Yuexiu Building where Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching Ling lived. The monument is 5.5 meters high and is in the shape of a square column with a pointed top. The back of the monument is engraved with the "Inscription of the Names of the Anti-Resistance Guards", which records the two days and nights of bloody battle between 61 presidential palace guards and Chen Jiongming's rebels.
