Introduction to Qiantang No. 1 Well: Qiantang No. 1 Well is located at No. 20 Dajing Lane. Dezhao, a famous monk from Wuyue Kingdom, saw that the people in Hangzhou were suffering from the salty river tide, so he had a well dug at the foot of Wushan Mountain. This well is connected to the mountains and has an endless stream of clear springs. In the seventh year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1374), a stone tablet was erected beside the well with the inscription "The First Spring in Wushan". In 1987, the Hangzhou Municipal Government erected a stone tablet with the inscription "Qiantang No. 1 Well" on it. It is now a key cultural relic protection unit in Zhejiang Province.
