Bell Tower Introduction: After the completion of the Science Experimental Building of Yunnan University, a supporting engineering water tower was built in 1955 to double as the bell tower. The tower has a total of 7 floors and is 26 meters high. Even the steel frame on the top of the tower is 30 meters high. Designed by Professor Yao Zhan, director of the Department of Civil Engineering of Yunnan University. ‘Bell Tower Receives Light’ is a scene on the Yunda University campus, and was listed as a historical and cultural heritage protected building in Kunming in 2005.
