Tang Ying, the pottery supervisor of the imperial kiln factory in the Qing Dynasty, introduced: Tang Ying, a ceramic artist in the Qing Dynasty, was good at writing, painting, calligraphy and seal cutting, and was proficient in porcelain making. In 1728, he was ordered to concurrently serve as the pottery supervisor of Jingdezhen. He served for nearly 30 years and fired porcelain for the Yongzheng and Qianlong emperors. Because he devoted himself to studying pottery and practiced it personally, he accumulated rich experience in making porcelain. The porcelains fired by him were all exquisite and highly appreciated by the emperors of the two dynasties. Therefore, the official kilns during the Qianlong period were also called "Tang kilns".
