Drum Tower Introduction: Zengchong Drum Tower was built in the autumn of the 11th year of Kangxi reign (1672) in the Qing Dynasty. The building is an octagonal, tower-type wooden building with spires, shaped like a pagoda, with a double gourd top, 25 meters high, and 13 floors with double eaves. There are four large columns in the building, forming a vertebral square frame, which is the backbone of the Drum Tower. Three meters away from the periphery of the big column, there are eight 3.5-meter-high pillars, which surround the big column and are connected to the inner columns with piercing beams in a radial shape.
