Introduction to the ground floor of the Drum Tower: The lowest floor of the Drum Tower has three gates embedded in it. There is a fire pit in the middle and bluestones are paved around it. It is a unique folk building of the Dong people. It is also a place where the Dong family gathers to discuss matters, resolve disputes, greet guests, sing duets, play the sheng and play in the hall.
