Introduction to Weiyuan City: Weiyuan City is located on the top of Zhaobaoshan Mountain. It was built with stone strips in 1560 (the 39th year of Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty). In order to resist the harassment of Japanese pirates, the governor Lu Bor and the Haidao deputy envoy Tan Lun led the army and civilians. The castle built has a circumference of more than 600 meters, a height of 7.4 meters, 73 battlements, and a pair of carved stone lions in front of the gate. There was once a meritorious temple built in the city to worship the statues of Qi Jiguang, Yu Dayou and other famous anti-Japanese generals in the Ming Dynasty.
