It is derived from the fact that the bottom of the well is built into an octagon and the walls are built with strips of stone to create a Bagua pattern. It is famous for its rich well water all year round. It was the main source of water for the daily life of the residents of the ancient city in the old days, and it is still available for drinking by the residents of the city.
