Introduction to the ancient city wall: The ancient city wall of Zhaohua was an earthen city in the Han Dynasty. It was built with stones during the Zhengde period of the Ming Dynasty (1506-1521 AD), with string houses built on it and buildings on all sides. The towers were repaired during the Qing Dynasty, but most of them were later damaged. The outer layer of the city wall is made of stone mortar, the inner layer is made of stone foot bricks, and the middle layer is filled with tamped soil. In ancient times, the total length of the city wall was 1,525 meters. At present, 324 meters of the ruins have been preserved, 636 meters have been restored to their original state, the battlements of the restored city wall are 1.4 meters high, and the landscape tips are 565 meters.
