Introduction to the Zheng He Bronze Bell: The Bronze Bell of the Sanqing Palace is also called the Zheng He Bronze Bell. It was built for Zheng He on Changle Nanshan in the winter of the sixth year of Xuande (1431) before his seventh mission to the West. It was cast in Sanqing Palace. The bell height is 68 cm, the button height is 14 cm, the diameter is 49 cm, the wall thickness is 2 cm, and the weight is 77 kg. The decoration is beautiful and the casting is excellent. The body of the bell is brown-green, in the shape of a cauldron, with a sunflower mouth, double dragon button top, and embossed patterns such as Bagua and Yunlei on the shoulder. The upper part of the main pattern has 5 groups of Bagua patterns, with the eight characters "Guotai Minan" and "Good weather"; the lower part has 5 groups of inscriptions with a total of 54 characters in regular script, each character is 1.8 cm square. The full text is: "On the auspicious day of the midsummer of Xinhai, the sixth year of Xuande in the Ming Dynasty, the eunuch Zheng He, Wang Jinghong and other officers and soldiers decided to cast a bronze bell to support them forever and pray for peace and good fortune in the return of the West."
