Chastity Archway Introduction: Kang Daoxing’s wife, Wang, was widowed at the age of 23, determined not to marry, and raised her adopted son Wuyan to adulthood. The Wang family worked hard for 31 years and died in the seventh year of Tongzhi. In the twelfth year of Tongzhi, he received the emperor's commendation. Later, with the instruction of his daughter-in-law Xiao and the efforts of his eldest grandson Kang Jianbi, a chastity arch was built specifically for Wang. This arch is still intact on the square at the entrance of the scenic spot.
