Introduction to the Sophora japonica planted by Cheng Hao: was planted by Cheng Hao, a famous Neo-Confucian scholar during the Yuanfeng period (1068-1085). When Cheng went to Songyang Academy to give lectures, he planted it with his own hands, hence the name. The tree is 19.5 meters high and 4 meters wide. Although the trunk of the tree is rugged, hollow but solid on the outside, the locust tree crown is densely shaded, with clusters of new branches, and the tree is graceful and ageless.
