Introduction to the Eight-Character Monument: When there is a flood every year, the vast ocean northwest of Jizi Temple becomes a vast country, and the water accumulates into a lake. The fertile fields submerge the bottom of the lake, and the water surface is rippled by the wind. When Zhang Congshen, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, saw this beautiful scenery, he wrote the eight characters "Distant blue and bright, the best place to visit" and erected a monument to prove it.
