Introduction to the Baoen Tower: According to records, the Baoen Tower was built by Chen Guanyang during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty. It is a masonry structure and is seven stories high. This man came from a poor family since he was a child. After studying hard in Xuanliang, he finally passed the Jinshi examination and became the Minister of the Ministry of Personnel. In order to repay the kindness of the elders in his hometown for their upbringing and encourage the younger generations to study seriously, he spent all his savings over the years to build this tower. Later, this tower became a symbol on the Yangtze River waterway. It was the first tower that sailors saw, so it was also known as "the first tower on the Yangtze River for thousands of miles."
