Introduction to Wanshou Palace: Wanshou Palace was the Jiangxi guild hall in ancient times. It is located in the lower part of the middle section of the stone cliff in Zhonghe Mountain. It is adjacent to Qinglong Cave in the south, Zhongyuan Temple in the north, and Ziyang Academy above. It is a group of Jiangnan Huizhou style enclosed buildings. The courtyard complex with high firewall is one of the "Eight Grand Halls" in Zhenyuan.
In ancient times, Zhenyuan was a choke point on the ancient post roads of Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan. The goods and materials passed through the Fuyang River and Yuanshui River and entered Dongting Lake and the Yangtze River, connecting all parts of the country. Businessmen from all over the country established many guild halls in Zhenyuan, among which the Jiangxi Guild Hall is the largest. Jiangxi people who were doing business in Zhenyuan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties welcomed friends, gathered and had fun here. The building complex has a gate archway from south to north, a front courtyard, a theater wing, a wing building, General Yang Si's Hall, and a living room in the middle courtyard (Fufu Living Room). ), Xu Zhenjun Hall in the backyard and the guest room on the north side (Nanfu Living Room) and Wen Gong Temple, etc.
