Introduction to Dagong Hall: Dagong Hall is located in Kangong on the north bank of Zhongchi. The hall enshrines Zhuge Liang’s god and portrait, and holds Zhuge Liang’s Spring and Autumn Festival. It is the only Zhuge Liang memorial hall in the south of the Yangtze River.
The Grand Hall has five entrances and three bays, with a construction area of more than 700 square meters. It is the most gorgeous and eye-catching building in the village in appearance. The two big characters "Zhong and Wu" on both sides of the gate mean that Zhuge Liang was named "Marquis of Wuxiang" by Liu Bei during his lifetime, and "Marquis of Zhongwu" by Liu Chan after his death. What is displayed in the middle hall is the direct lineal table of the Zhuge clan, starting from Zhuge Liang. His father, Zhuge Gui, was the first generation ancestor, and he inherited the same line from Zhuge Liang's grandson Zhuge Jing. It was passed down to the Five Dynasties and Tang Dynasty. Zhuge Huan went to Shouchang as the county magistrate. He moved several times. By the 27th generation, Zhuge Dashion settled in Gaolong. He has been in his fifties so far. The Five Dynasties; in the third room, there are engraved lists of teachers before and after. The "Book of Commandments" of Zhuge Liang on the plaque of the Grand Master in the middle is the motto of the Zhuge family from generation to generation; in the back room, there is a portrait of Zhuge Liang hanging high, and eight chairs of the Grand Master are placed on both sides. , if there is any major event in the village, the clan leader will convene the leaders here to discuss matters. Every year on the fourteenth day of the fourth lunar month and the twenty-eighth day of the eighth lunar month, a grand ancestor worship ceremony will be held in the Grand Hall, and this ceremony continues to this day.
