Introduction to residential buildings: There are more than 200 existing residential houses in Ming and Qing Dynasties in Zhuge Village. They are typical Huizhou architecture of "green bricks, gray tiles, horse head walls, fat beams, fat columns, and small boudoirs". The layout, house wood carvings, gate couplets and house shapes are all unique and are called "a rich gold mine of ancient Chinese dwellings" by ancient architecture experts.
