Introduction to the mangroves of Qi'ao Island: The mangrove reserve of Qi'ao Island is located in the northwest of Qi'ao Island, facing Zhongshan, Shenzhen and Hong Kong across the sea in the northwest and northeast. The waters in the south are connected with Zhuhai Wanshan Marine Development Experimental Zone and The White Dolphin National Reserve is connected and is the throat of the Pearl River's four major outlets. The protected area covers an area of 5103.77 hectares and the mangrove area is 700 hectares, which is displayed in a half-moon shape.
