Introduction to Cuisu Danliu: Cui refers to green leaves and sparse leaves, and Dan refers to red and ripe lychees. Tang Shaoyi planted a wide range of rare lychee trees in the garden, most of which are "cinnamon flavored" and a few are "glutinous rice cakes". Whenever the cicadas sing in midsummer and the lychees are ripe, Tang Shaoyi will entertain guests under the grape trellis in the shade of the trees in front of the pastoral villa to pick and eat the lychees on the stone benches. The red lychees and green leaves are really charming.
