Introduction to Zhengda Guangming Hall: Zhengda Guangming Hall is the first group of buildings after entering the park, including the Grand Palace Gate, Zhengda Guangming Hall and the East and West courtyards. It was the place where the emperor held court meetings and listened to politics. It was another political center outside the Forbidden City in the Qing Dynasty. From Yongzheng to Daoguang, emperors of all dynasties received birthday congratulations every year, including banquets with relatives and friends, small banquets with courtiers, extended banquets during the Zhongyuan Dynasty, dragon dance celebrations, big Hanzhan examinations, and re-examinations of local examinations after dispersal.
