Monument introduction: The Heitieshan Anti-Japanese Armed Uprising Monument was established on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Heitieshan Anti-Japanese Armed Uprising. The main body is made of purple-red granite, in the shape of two side-by-side 38-type rifles, and the top connection is in the shape of a bayonet with a shining white blade. The monument is 21.7 meters high, symbolizing that it is a people's armed force under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, which was born on July 1, 1921. On the front of the monument are 12 large gold-plated characters inscribed by Marshal Xu Xiangqian, "Monument to the Anti-Japanese Armed Uprising in Black Iron Mountain". The inscription is engraved on black marble and embedded in the stone wall carved out of the mountain behind the monument. The inscription highly praises the heroic deeds of the Black Iron Mountain uprising troops, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, in fighting in the north and south during the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation, and fighting bloody battles one after another.
