Introduction to Yuyang Tomb: "Reconstruction of Xincheng County Chronicle" records that "Wang Shizhen, the Minister of the Ministry of Punishment, was buried in the sun of Wuhe River, two miles southwest of the city." On May 11, the 50th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1711), Wang Shizhen died of illness. According to the "Wang Family Biography": "Shanren died on May 11th, that is, on December 7th of that year, and was buried next to his ancestor's tomb on the north bank of the river." Written by my friend Wang Guan, a bachelor of Wenyuange and the minister of the Ministry of Rites. The inscription "Emperor Qinggao presented the inscription to the minister of government, the Sutra Banquet, the Minister of the Ministry of Punishment, Wang Gong's Shinto Inscription" commemorates Wang Shizhen's life's character, literary works and political voice. The stone was later placed on the left side of the tomb. In front of the tomb is the "Epitaph of Prince Ruan Ting and Zhang Yiren, the Minister of the Ministry of Justice and Prince Zhang Yiren" written by Song Luo, the Minister of the Ministry of Personnel and the Prince's Young Master. This stele is made of the rare national treasure Cicada Stone. The stone is of unique quality, with red dots and blue silk. The sound of cicadas can be heard when the wind blows. To the left and right of the monument are the epitaphs for Wang Shizhen written by Yang Shengwu, Weng Fanggang, Sun Xingyan and other great poets and writers of the Qing Dynasty.
