Introduction to the sculpture of King Baotou: The myth of King Baotou is spread in the Zixi Mountain area. According to legend, there was a Yi girl in Moran Village, Zixi Mountain, and there was a black dragon in the Black Dragon Temple. The black dragon sneaked into the village and impregnated the girl, giving birth to a son with a strange head shape. The grandmother wrapped his head with the corner of the black dragon's clothes and called it "Little Baotou". He abandoned it in the wilds of Zixi Mountain, where he was suckled by a tigress in the mountain, and protected by phoenixes and foxes. Gotta live. The villagers were surprised and called her the God Baby. When little Baotou grew up, he practiced flying horse archery and martial arts. His skills were extraordinary. He dedicated himself to helping poor villagers and was honored as the "King of Baotou". One day, King Baotou learned that Black Dragon was at Wulong Temple in Nan'an Prefecture. Seeing his father's eagerness, he mistook the time and fired a bow to send an arrow to the temple, but the arrow accidentally entered the Chuxiong Mansion. The government was alarmed and sent officers and soldiers to round him up, but when they failed, they asked Taoist priests to cast spells to destroy him. Later, the people of Zixi Mountain felt pity for his suffering and thought of his virtue, so they made a stone statue to pay homage every year.
