Since the Xinjiang-Tibet Line needs to pass through the world-famous Kunlun Mountains, Karakoram Mountains, Gangdise Mountains, Himalayas and other mountain ranges , it will pass through many Daban ( Daban means the top of the mountain), and the altitude will quickly rise to about 5,000 meters.

The next morning I visited the Sanli Barracks. It was a very small and ordinary site, but very famous. Because it is the traffic point on the 219 Xinzang Line , and it is also the only station between Yecheng and Ali that is not too high in altitude. .

After resting for a night at Sanli Barracks, we continued to Ali in the morning.

I admit that I am not an emotional person. , but in this situation, I couldn’t help but burst into tears!

Next to it is the ruins of the Kandawa Frontline Command (the ruins of the self-defense counterattack against India). It is deserted and inaccessible. Even now, ordinary people cannot stand the harsh environment here. They lament the greatness of the soldiers at that time and the sacrifice of the martyrs. How come today's years are quiet and peaceful after spilling blood!

A truck driver also came to the "Dead Man's Gully" for inspection. When he got off the truck, he was swaying around and couldn't make a road. The checkpoint staff told him that he needed more rest to recover. The truck driver replied: He didn’t dare to sleep, for fear that he would not be able to get up if he fell asleep... Then he continued to rush to Ali overnight. The altitude along the way was about 5,000 meters. It was estimated that it would take him the next morning to arrive, which was extremely difficult and difficult.

Although we also had some headaches and were out of breath, we had to continue our journey for a while. The altitude here was too high and it was not suitable to stay for a long time.
