Chapter 43 of Jingxiang’s Travels | "Yellow Earth" (5) Yanqing View

Kaifeng City is full of scenic spots, and you don’t know where to go after coming out of Qingming Shanghe Garden. However, I didn't worry about this problem because I asked the driver to wait at the entrance of the scenic spot and took his car when I came out. He would take me to nearby scenic spots.

The driver is a man over fifty years old. Why should I choose an older coachman? Are there no young and strong coachmen coming out of Kaifeng Mansion? No, I chose him intentionally.

Many people will choose young and strong drivers out of pity, and cannot bear to let older people pull the cart for them, thinking that this is helping the elderly driver, but in fact it is just the opposite.

We might as well think about it: If he is unable to pull a car, he will do other jobs, such as cleaning, security guard, or even picking up rags. If you can pull a cart, it means that he is physically capable of doing the hard work. If you "pity" him and don't help him, then he will have no business and cannot make money. You are actually harming him! So I chose to take his car, and also asked him to take me to some scenic spots, intending to let him earn some kickbacks. Let him guide us along the way, and we can go wherever he says. No, we came to Yanqing Temple. What is there to see in Yanqing Temple? I have to talk about a historical celebrity first.

In Jin Yong's works, there is a master with extremely high martial arts "Supernatural power " Wang Chongyang. He is a real person in history. He is a famous Taoist priest in the Song Dynasty and the founder of the Taoist sect. , has 7 disciples (the seven fax disciples in the novel). Wang Chongyang advocated the equality of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism and the integration of the three religions, and proposed the integration theory of "the three religions have always been one ancestral style".
Wang Chongyang's point of view is very reasonable. No matter what kind of orthodox religion, their purpose is to guide people to be good. From this point of view, "the three religions have always been one ancestral style" is established .
Wang Chongyang died in Kaifeng on his way back from the customs (promoting Taoism) at the age of 58 (AD 1112-1170). His disciples built the Chongyang Palace (now the Yanqing Temple) at the place where Wang Chongyang ascended to the sky. ).

Yanqing Temple covers a small area,

But Sanqing Palace is definitely the main building.

The one in the middle is Yuanshi Tianzun. To the left of Yuanshi Tianzun is Lingbao Tianzun, who is ranked second, and to the right is Daode Tianzun, who is ranked third.

This arrangement actually follows Laozi’s thought of respecting the left. Chapter 31 of the "Tao Te Ching": "A gentleman lives on the left, and when he uses troops, he values the right... Good things go to the left, bad things go to the right. Generals who are partial to the left, generals who are superior to the right. " is in line with the current international practice. The standard of respecting the right is completely opposite. This is because in today's world, force is the only thing that values and submission by force. Lao Tzu believes that a strong right hand is used for wielding weapons to kill people, and a gentleman's left hand is the most valuable.
Among the three idols worshiped by Taoism, Yuanshi Tianzun is the incarnation of Pangu, obviously a legendary figure; Lingbao Tianzun is the incarnation of vitality, needless to say, illusory; Daode Tianzun is the incarnation of Laozi, and only this is the living Taoist doctrine Founder.
In fact, Taoism and Taoism are two different things. During the period of Emperor Shun of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Daoling founded the Five Dou Rice Sect in Heming Mountain, Shu County. Legend has it that believers had to pay five dou rice to join the religion, so it got its name. In fact, it may be a slip of the tongue for "Five Dou Mi Sect". When Zhang Daoling established Taoism, he took "Tao Te Ching" as the holy scripture and wrote "Laozi Xiang'er Commentary" to explain Taoism, teachings and practice standards, and initially established the Taoist doctrine and ideological system, which was expressed in the name of "Zhengyi" The teaching theory advocated is the orthodox teaching of Taishang Zhenyibuduo. In this way, Lao Tzu got involved with Taoism and was regarded as the ancestor of Taoism by Zhang Daoling, who was called the Celestial Master. Later, the imagination was continuously expanded, and the legendary figures before Laozi were regarded as the ancestors of Taoism, with Laozi relegated to the third place.
I originally thought that the theme of Chongyang Palace must be to commemorate Wang Chongyang, but I never thought that this Taoist temple that can be seen at a glance does not have much content about Wang Chongyang. Apart from giving an introduction to Wang Chongyang, there is nothing much about him. .

The element of Sanqing Palace is a must, and the rest are Taoist content. No wonder the Chongyang Palace is renamed Yanqing Temple!
Although Yanqing Temple is small in area, it makes use of the basement. Don't think that the basement can give Wang Chongyang a place. What is displayed in it is actually the "breaking" of Nayin of sixty years (that is, judging its bad luck)!
Randomly pick out one of the groups as an example: the picture below shows the sound of the two stems Renshen and Guiyou.

The Nayin of Renshen and Guiyou is gold, and there are many kinds of gold, such as "Jiazi, Yichou, gold in the sea", while Renshen and Guiyou belong to Jianfeng gold. A sword is a metal that has been made into a tool, so it is the gold of a tool. If you are born in the Year of the Monkey (Shen Year) or the Year of the Rooster (You Year), you are most afraid of encountering the year of Ren Shen or Gui You Year, but it likes the fire in the furnace. In the Sixty Years, the five elements of Nayin in Bingyin and Dingmao are the fire in the furnace. In other words, it is best for people born in the Year of the Monkey in 1992 and the Year of the Rooster in 1993 to be with those born in the Year of the Tiger in 1986 and Dingmao in 1987.

I would like to say a little more personally: It is best for a man in 1987 to marry a wife born in 1992, and for a man in 1986 to marry a wife born in 1993. But if you apply this formula, it would be dogmatism. This sixty-year-old rule means that they have such effects, but whether these effects can be effective depends on the cooperation of the other three elements. For example: if a scorpion can sting a snake, the snake can eat a frog, and the frog can eat a scorpion.

When a snake and a frog are together, the frog will immediately become the snake's lunch; When the frog and a scorpion are together, the scorpion is dead and will be eaten by the frog immediately ; When a scorpion and a snake are together, the snake will be stung by the scorpion.

But when snakes, frogs and scorpions coexist in the same room, they can get along well. If a snake eats a frog, the scorpion will sting it to death. If the frog eats the scorpion, the snake will swallow it. If the scorpion stings the snake to death, the frog will eat it in one bite. Due to the different combinations, the original effect is completely lost here. When Yin and Shen conflict and Mao and You conflict, just like when two of the above three animals meet, one of them will definitely be in trouble. The combination of Bingyin and Renshen, Dingmao and Guiyou is like three animals living in the same room, achieving balance and safety.

Therefore, the relationship between the five elements is very mysterious and very complicated. You can never say: "It is good to be born in which month, and it is bad to be born in any time." Is Liu Chong good? When Bingyin meets Renshen, it is a conflict between heaven and earth, but judging from Nayin, this conflict is a good thing, so everything cannot be generalized.

Having said so much, many readers have already dozed off, indicating that the vast majority of people cannot understand. Well, Yanqing Temple devoted an entire basement to displaying these things. The result is that people like me who have a little bit of metaphysical foundation are not interested in seeing it, because we know more than what is displayed. For the vast majority of tourists, they obviously have no interest in such things that they know nothing about. I really don’t know who they are doing it for.
After coming out of Yanqing Temple, the driver continued to take me and took a few photos while passing by Longting Scenic Area. However, now that I have gone, I have to say something by the way.

Dragon Pavilion is not a pavilion, but a palace built on a huge blue brick platform with a height of 13 meters. During the Five Dynasties, the Later Liang, Later Jin, Later Han, and Later Zhou dynasties successively set up royal palaces here. Zhao Kuangyin came here from the coup of the Later Zhou Dynasty. After Chen Qiao's mutiny, it was logical to use this place as the palace of the Northern Song Dynasty.
The Dragon Pavilion faces south and sits high on the platform. There is a distance of 36 feet from the ground to the main hall, which represents the 36 Tiangang; the 72 steps represent the 72 Earthly Demons. Think about it, there are 36 Tiangang, 72 Disha, and a total of 108 heroes in Liangshan. Can you say that it has nothing to do with the design here?

There is a straight avenue in front of Longting. There are two lakes facing each other from east to west, Pan Lake in the east and Yang Lake in the west. The Yang Mansion of the Yang family lived in the west, so it was called Yang Lake.

The East Lake here is also called Pan Lake because Pan Renmei lives in the east. Strangely enough, the water quality of West Lake is very good because it is not polluted, while East Lake is very polluted and even smells bad. Since the Song Dynasty, people's evaluation of Pan Renmei has always been negative, which conforms to people's hatred of Pan Renmei. The local people said: "I would rather bathe in Yang Lake than wash my feet in Pan Lake." Such a wonder.

Don't think that the place where Zhao Kuangyin worked was so luxurious. His palace had long been submerged by the Yellow River floods and buried underground by silt. It is conceivable that these two lakes are definitely not the same lakes, and Xiangxiang has nothing to do with Yang and Pan.
Preview of the next article: Some rich people raised some money and built a luxurious club. Their luxury at that time was definitely not electronic screens. So, what can show their rich demeanor? Go into the "Shan-Shan-Gan Guild Hall" and have a look.
